Red Oak Founder and Director Appointed to Lebanese National Commission for UNESCO

We are proud to announce that Nadine Abou Zaki, founder and director of Red Oak, has been appointed as a member of the newly established Lebanese National Commission for UNESCO. This important commission was formed under the leadership of Minister of Culture Ghassan Salameh and held its inaugural meeting in July 2025.

The Lebanese National Commission for UNESCO brings together a diverse group of experts, public figures, and cultural leaders dedicated to advancing UNESCO’s core missions across Lebanon. These missions include promoting education, culture, science, and communication to foster sustainable development, cultural preservation, and international cooperation.

As a member of this commission, Nadine Abou Zaki will contribute to shaping national policies and collaborative initiatives that align with UNESCO’s values and support Lebanon’s cultural and educational sectors. This appointment reflects Red Oak’s ongoing commitment to cultural advocacy and educational development in Lebanon.
