As part of the ongoing partnership between Red Oak and the MACAM (Modern and Contemporary Art Museum) in Alita, Jbeil through the DOORS. PLEASE TOUCH project, a new tactile and inclusive museum visit was recently organized with students from the Father Roberts Institute.

Through touch-based exploration and adapted mediation, students discovered modern and contemporary artworks beyond visual observation alone. The visit also included sign language interpretation, creating an accessible space for exchange and engagement with the artworks.

The experience continued through a clay workshop inspired by the museum collections, allowing participants to explore forms, textures, and gestures through their own creative process.

This initiative continues to support more inclusive approaches to cultural accessibility and sensory engagement within museum spaces.
