Emergency Relief and Psychosocial Support in Baaloul, West Bekaa

Emergency relief and psychosocial support project launched in Baaloul, West Bekaa

Red Oak has launched a new emergency relief and psychosocial support project in Baaloul, West Bekaa, to support internally displaced families affected by the ongoing conflict in Lebanon.

Many families displaced to Baaloul Public School and surrounding areas continue to face difficult living conditions, overcrowding, limited access to services, and growing psychological distress.

Through this intervention, Red Oak will support 200 displaced families through food assistance, hygiene kit distribution, psychosocial support activities for 160 children, and emotional support sessions for 400 women, creating safe spaces for expression, connection, and support.

The project also includes coordination and referral efforts with local authorities and mental health and psychosocial support actors to ensure that vulnerable individuals can access additional specialized services when needed.

The project is implemented together with Mondo and supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Estonia.
