Supporting Women's Craftsmanship and Economic Empowerment
As part of our commitment to supporting women's economic empowerment, Red Oak organized a craft sale in Sèvres, France, showcasing handmade creations crafted by women and girls from Lebanon.
The event featured a diverse collection of handcrafted products, including embroidered bags and accessories, crochet dolls and toys, bookmarks, soaps, and other artisanal creations. Beyond celebrating traditional craftsmanship, the initiative created an opportunity for these products to reach new audiences while contributing to sustainable livelihood opportunities for the women artisans.
This initiative was organized by Red Oak Lebanon in collaboration with its sister organization, Red Oak France, reflecting our shared commitment to promoting women's entrepreneurship, preserving traditional craftsmanship, and strengthening connections between Lebanon and France.
