Aerial Trapeze: A Collective Performance by Mothers and Daughters
The final session of the aerial trapeze project took place at Ciela Academy, bringing together participants for a collective performance shaped by weeks of practice and commitment. Despite a challenging security context, the event created a vibrant and uplifting atmosphere.
Participants presented a range of acts — solos, duets, and trios — revealing confidence, fluidity, and expressiveness. Children with disabilities were fully included and actively engaged throughout, reflecting a strong commitment to accessibility, equality, and respect.
Over the course of the program, mothers and girls strengthened their connection while developing confidence, body awareness, and coordination. The experience offered not only a physical practice, but also a shared space of trust and support.
The presence of representatives from Baakline Municipality and Red Oak highlighted the importance of institutional engagement in supporting such initiatives.
This initiative was implemented by Red Oak in partnership with La Guilde, with the support of the French Embassy in Lebanon.
