Creating Opportunities for Women in West Bekaa
Prevention on Cyberbullying
As part of the "Transforming the future in Bekaa through professional and digital skills" project, Red Oak successfully conducted four interactive awareness sessions focused on cyberbullying prevention, with the active participation of 50 women from the Bekaa region (Baaloul). Sessions addressed the pressing issue of digital bullying — including hurtful messages, online rumors, and threats on social media platforms.
These workshops are designed not only to raise awareness and prevent cyberbullying but also to empower women with the tools and knowledge to navigate the digital world safely.
The sessions are supported by La Francophonie avec Elles and implemented in collaboration with La Guilde. This program aims to strengthen the financial and social autonomy of 200 women and girls through vocational training in embroidery, crochet, digital skills, and entrepreneurship.
