Sensory Exploration and Clay Workshop
As part of the DOORS. PLEASE TOUCH. project developed in partnership between Red Oak and the MACAM (Modern and Contemporary Art Museum) in Jbeil, a new tactile and sensory museum experience was recently organized with participants from the Zvartnotz Center for Special Education and Rehabilitation.
Through tactile exploration and adapted mediation, participants engaged with modern and contemporary artworks through texture, shape, movement, and sensory perception.
The visit was followed by a clay workshop inspired by the artworks discovered throughout the museum. Through touch and material exploration, participants created their own forms while extending their relationship with the artworks into a personal and collective creative experience.
These encounters continue to encourage more accessible and inclusive ways of experiencing art and cultural spaces.
Thank you to the MACAM team and to the Zvartnotz Center for these moments of discovery and creation.
