The ongoing conflict in Lebanon has forced many families to flee their homes and seek refuge in areas already facing difficult economic and humanitarian conditions. In Baaloul, West Bekaa, displaced families living in Baaloul Public School and surrounding areas continue to face overcrowding, food insecurity, limited access to services, and growing psychological distress linked to displacement and uncertainty.

Through this project, Red Oak is supporting 200 displaced families through food assistance and hygiene kit distribution, while also providing psychosocial support activities for 160 children and emotional support sessions for 400 women. The activities aim to create safe spaces for expression, connection, and psychosocial support for individuals affected by conflict and displacement.

The project also includes coordination and referral efforts with local authorities and mental health and psychosocial support actors to help vulnerable individuals access additional specialized services when needed.

The project is implemented together with Mondo and supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Estonia.
