Bodies in Motion, Hearts Connected
“Bodies in Motion, Hearts Connected” is a project designed and implemented by Red Oak, supported through Sa7tak Bi Idak – Ta Santé Est Entre Tes Mains, an initiative launched by La Guilde with the support of the French Embassy in Lebanon and the Institut français.
Developed in collaboration with Ciela Academy, Shouf National College, Scale (Specialized Centre for Accessible Learning and Education), and the Tripoli Disabled Sports Association, the project aims to foster inclusion, accessibility, and community well-being through sport and the arts.
The program brings together children, youth, women, and participants with and without disabilities through a variety of activities, including circus-based movement, aerial practices, wheelchair sports, psychosocial support through art, awareness sessions, film screenings, and community events celebrating diversity.
Through these initiatives, Red Oak and its partners aim to strengthen self-expression, resilience, collaboration, and participation in an accessible and supportive environment, ensuring a long-term positive impact for the Chouf community.
